Amy moved to Newport a year ago which has been an incredible life experience for her and she is excited to give back to the community by co-founding Titanium Yoga. Her goal is to provide a space filled with kindness, happiness, and personal growth for all that come to her classes.
Amy has been teaching yoga since 2008 after completing her RYT200 yoga certification in Skaneateles, NY. Amy has also attended numerous workshop immersion trainings with master teachers: Jason Crandell, David Regelin, Sadie Nardini, Todd Norian, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Nikki Costello.
Amy has taught various types of classes over the years including slow flow, vinyasa flow, power yoga, yin, foundations to yoga, and her specialty, which is alignment based vinyasa flow. Amy’s belief is that keeping the body aligned prevents disease and allows you to experience the depth of poses and works with each student to help them achieve personal growth in their practice.
Off the mat Amy works in the field of clinical research as a senior global talent acquisition director. Amy is also involved with Newport Contemporary Ballet and is the President of the Trout Lake Association.

Olivia recently completed her RYT200 yoga certification in March 2023 and has been teaching in the Newport community since then. She focuses on slow flow and vinyasa flow classes and believes that students should prioritize meeting themselves where they are on and off the mat, creating space for patience and growth.
Off the mat Olivia is a nanny and has a passion for working with children and experiencing their growth and curiosity. She is also an avid reader, loves to travel and recently went on a yoga retreat in Sicily.
Olivia is excited to teach at Titanium Yoga so she can grow, learn and connect with amazing individuals in the community.

Fun Facts about Olivia:
Makes her own salves and infused oils. Her favorite is lavender oil beeswax salve!
Madi completed her RYT200 yoga certification in March 2023 and has been teaching for 7 months in the Newport community. She has taught a range of classes from restorative slow flow to power vinyasa. Madi’s philosophy is to create an open and welcoming environment for students of all stages so they can learn and grow in their practice and does this by getting to know each student and their goals and reasons for practicing yoga.
Off the mat Madi is a social media manager for higher education institutions and has been in marketing for 5 years. She also loves running, going for walks and exploring new coffee shops in and around Rhode Island.
Madi is thrilled to be part of the Titanium Yoga Community because it embodies all of the aspects of yoga that she believes in –community, kindness, joy, and spirituality.

Maggie completed her RYT200 yoga certification in May 2023 and has been teaching vinyasa flow classes in the community since then. Maggie likes the philosophy of satya. She believes in practicing a walk the talk mentality and making sure your represent a true mentality of who you are. Maggie helps students understand what to do and when to ask for help or guidance.
Off the mat Maggie is a Nurse in the Newport Emergency Room and has worked there for 4 years. She is also an avid runner, hiker and loves to camp. She spends a lot of time outside with her golden doodle, Winnie. Maggie is excited to be part of Titanium Yoga and teach while also growing further as an instructor.

“ I have been influenced by yoga for most of my life. My 86 year old Nana is a yoga instructor and so is my Mom. Yoga has always come back into my life at the times when I was lost. I believe that yoga is a form of ritual that allows people to open up and reflect on parts of themselves”
Fun Facts about Maggie:
She was a third in the nation rugby player in college!
Pallyanna completed her RYT200 yoga certification in 2021 and has been teaching yoga in North Carolina before coming to Newport. Her classes range from yin, slow flow vinyasa to power yoga. Pallyanna believes that yoga is not a workout but rather a workin on yourself and a way to let go of stagnant energy and release what is no longer serving you.
She is excited to join Titanium Yoga as the studio is a welcoming community that is filled with support, and unique offerings. She encourages students to practice self- realization and to learn to feel comfortable in the discomfort, knowing that the practice on the mat can be transferred over to everyday life.
Off the mat Pallyanna is a Graduate Student at Salve Regina University studying Holistic Mental Health Counseling. She also loves traveling and immersing herself into different cultures, reading and cooking.

I believe that yoga has been a beautiful tool to move energy, cultivate self awareness and be my anchor to the present moment so you can connect with mind, body, and spirit.”
Fun Facts about Pallyanna:
At age 19 she went to Southeast Asia and traveled to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and learned about Buddhism and Meditation. This experience helped transform her perspective and encouraged her to pursue her love and passion for yoga!
Anjali completed her RYT200 yoga certification in January 2023 from the Rishikesh Vinyasa School in India. She is certified to teach vinyasa flow and the Ashtanga Primary Series and has been teaching in the community at colleges and outdoor events. Her belief is that yoga is to promote peace and power in oneself and the greater community and to reap the benefits of health and shares this belief with her students in each class.
Anjali first pursued yoga training as a means to connect deeply with her Indian heritage, as she grew up biracial practicing both Hinduism and Judaism. She is excited to join Titanium Yoga and share her knowledge of Ashtanga with the Newport community. She felt a calling to join Titanium and the heart based inspired healing practices the studio is founded on resonates with her own beliefs.
Off the mat Anjali is a Farm Manager in Training at the Long Lane Farm. She also holds the positions of Volunteer Coordinator and Youth Educator a the local non-profit, Aquidneck Community Table and is dedicated to promoting accessibility to healthy eating. One day she wishes to combine her passions and open up a sustainable, holistic health retreat center on her own farm.

Fun Facts about Anjali:
Her name relates heavily to yoga – ‘Anjali Mudra’ and the story of Patanjali make up the meaning of Anjali as ‘Divine Offering’.
Stefanie relocated to Newport with her husband in November of 2021 and completed her RYT200 yoga certification in the Spring of 2023 through Lori Pagliaroni’s Shanti Om Yoga Teacher Training. She has also practiced at a number of studios in the great boston area.
Off the mat Stefanie is a Global Client Executive in financial services. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and has participated and held various director roles to advance these efforts. She loves to travel and explore local yoga studios wherever she goes. Stefanie is a mother of a son. She is excited to bring together a new community of yoga instructors to the Newport Community.

Stefanie is a dog mom of 3 (2 Shitzus and 1 Frenchie). She loves spending time with family and friends, hosting parties and visiting her favorite getaway from reality is Las Vegas!
Samantha received her RYT200 hours yoga certification in 2016 and has been teaching yoga for 7 years. She has taught vinyasa, restorative, hip-hop yoga, and vinyasa with weights. Samantha is passionate about creating a welcoming and nonjudgmental class for students of all levels to clear their mind and fully release inwards. Her classes are about turning inward and honoring where your body is at, connecting breath to movement and finding calm in the stillness.
Samantha loves Newport and yoga but hadn’t found a yoga home on the Island until joining Titanium Yoga. She is excited to be apart of this new community!
Off the mat Samantha has an art business where she uses ceramics and metalsmithing to design art that evokes a feeling of movement and life.

Melissa received her CYT200 hours yoga certification in 2023 and has been teaching vinyasa flow classes since finishing her training. Her philosophy about yoga is finding ease in the balance of mind, body, and breath on the mat. She encourages every student to make the practice their own, recognizing that everyone has a different reason for finding themselves on their mat. Melissa is looking forward to connection and growing with the Titanium Yoga family and sharing her passion for yoga with all students.
Off the mat, Melissa is a Director of Operations for a technology company and when not working she enjoys outdoor adventures with her rescue dogs Buddha and Bala, traveling, reading a good book and time with friends and family.

Melissa waited until she turned 40 to become a certified yoga teacher – proving you are never too old to follow your dreams!
Abbey completed her 200-hour RYT training in 2017 and her Yoga Sculpt training in 2015 (both with CorePower Yoga in Boston).
Abbey has experience teaching a variety of different classes including heated and non-heated vinyasa power flows, slow flows, yoga sculpt, and beginner foundations classes. Most recently (2020-2024), Abbey taught at Evolve Power Yoga (EPY) in Boston.
Abbey’s approach empowers students to be more present: deepening intuition and the connection between mind and body. She offers a nurturing and welcoming space for all to find their edge and leave class with a fresh perspective.
Abbey moved to Newport in November 2023 and is excited to join the Titanium team to both teach and learn from members of this close-knit community.
Off the mat, Abbey works full-time in media relations strategy at a full service communications and public relations agency. She loves walking her rescue pup on the beach and spending quality time with family and friends.
Abbey loves creating dynamic playlists for her classes and believes that music can be a powerful tool in connecting to the practice
Abbey's quote about yoga:

I have met lifelong friends as both a teacher and student of yoga – I am so grateful for that.”
Katie received her 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training in 2015 from Dhyana Yoga, Philadelphia, her 300 Hour Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Training in 2022 from Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness in Costa Rica, and her 100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher training in 2022 from Shanti Atma Yin Yoga School, Portugal. Katie has taught yoga over the years in Florida and Philadelphia and she lives her life off the mat using the Yamas and Niyamas as moral guidelines allowing her take her practice out to the studio and into the real world. Katie believes the most important part of the practice is the breath which is a gift and opportunity to bring ourselves into the present moment.
Katie is new to Newport and interested in building the yoga community at Titanium Yoga and appreciates that Titanium Yoga is intertwined with the broader Newport Community. She is excited to bring her energy to the studio and to then share that outwards with others. Off the mat, you will find her at Salve Regina where she is working on her Master’s in Holistic Clinical Counseling as she plans to offer somatic therapy after completing the program.
Katie’s quote on what yoga means to her:
Yoga changed how I moved through life, far beyond the physical practice. It has brough more softness, more grace, and more self-compassion to my life. My yoga practice has helped me find the balance between effort and ease and my decision to become a teacher stemmed from a simple desire to help people feel better leaving a practice then when they first stepped onto their mat. I want people to know that yoga is for everybody, just keep showing up!
Fun Facts about Katie:
During the pandemic she sold her house to travel the world; it was the most fulfilling experience of her life! She taught yoga a retreat center during this time and completed her additional trainings which allowed her to meet some of her dearest and closest friends.
Federica received her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training at Yogi Hari’s Ashram in Miramar, Florida in March 2022 and has been teaching classes since then. She has practiced yoga for nearly 20 years and classes from Lori Pagliaroni, Shannon Walker, Greg Angel, Patty Doyle and others when Thames Street Yoga was in Newport.
She has taught vinyasa flow, slow flow and private one-on-one yoga for clients and incorporates some of her massage health and wellness information into her classes. Federica is excited to join Titanium Yoga and teach in a devoted yoga studio. She enjoys the community and shared values and love of the practice that other teachers have her at Titanium.
Federica’s yoga lifestyle guides her in her life as she draws upon lessons connected to presence, accountability, gratitude, and service. Off the mat, you can find Federica practicing massage, Reiki and bodywork in Newport while also offering health coaching advise to clients.
Federica’s quote on what yoga means to her: My extensive personal yoga practice has helped me tremendously in maintaining the integrity of my posture and body mechanics during long days as a massage therapist. It has increased my strength and flexibility, my body awareness and listening capabilities, and most importantly supported and enhanced my practice of mindfulness.
Fun Fact about Federica: Although she spends a lot of time with people she is an introvert who spends a lot of time alone in the woods to relax and recharge. She enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and countries and has been fortunate to have had the chance to visit many beautiful places around the world.
Jessica received her RYT200 hours yoga certification with Yoga Alliance in April 2022 and has been teaching since then. She has taught all level vinyasa flow classes both in a studio and outdoors. Jessica’s philosophy on yoga is that it is more than the physical movements and postures as she has a holistic approach to her classes which incorporate mind-body practices like breathwork, meditation, yoga teachings and intentional movements. Her belief is that yoga helps our mental and physical health, well-being, and longevity.
Jessica is excited to become a part of Titanium Yoga so she can connect, grow, learn, and share her love of yoga with others at the studio and with the community around us.

Julia has been studying and practicing yoga and sacred movement since 2012 when she received her 200 hour YTT with Randall O’Leary of the Swara Yoga Academy. She loves to see people move towards greater freedom and joy! She has taught many disciplines of Yoga and people in all states of being; including pre and post natal mammas, children, and the elderly in the last dozen years.
Her practice of yoga is informed by her studies of the human body and energy system through the lens of Polarity Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Integrated Energy Therapy and various other modalities that focus on clearing and releasing stuck energy. Her class will draw from many different sources and consider the greater cycles that connect us all.
Julia is excited to join Titanium Yoga and help open the door to yoga for all types of students as she looks forward to working with them to help guide them in their practice.

Mary received her RYT200 hour yoga certification in March of 2019 and she started teaching right away. She has experience teaching vinyasa, power vinyasa, slow flow and gentle yoga classes. As a yoga teacher, Mary looks to create a space where everyone feels welcome regardless of ability or experience. She likes to give options for students to either soften the flow or amp it up. She will help students to strengthen and lengthen the body while having time to get in and out of poses.
Mary absolutely loves the Newport community and TitaniumYoga is right at the heart of my every day life! She is excited to include new people and to learn from all of our wonderful teachers.
Off the mat Mary is a makeup artist for the last 24 years and she works actively in the Newport community. Mary spends much of her free time walking her dog in town and spending time with family.

Stefanie and Amy met by chance in Newport after both relocating. We thought the community would welcome another yoga studio to add to the variety of offerings already thriving. The idea came to fruition quickly over the summer of 2023 and the universe connected us to the beautiful location and our amazing team of instructors! We are both passionate about connecting the community and offering classes to everyone. We welcome you to Titanium Yoga, a place to feel safe to bring your authentic self.
Amy received her RYT300 hours yoga certification in 2014, and attended a Prison Yoga Project Foundational Training: Yoga Through the Lens of Trauma and Incarceration in 2022. She has been teaching Trauma-informed: Vinyasa, Restorative/Yin Yoga, Power Yoga, and Meditation classes for the last 10 years in various places in RI and in NC when living there.
Her philosophy is that yoga as a practice is a container to lean into one’s physical, emotional, and spiritual self, as it is in that moment, with curiosity and compassion. Yoga as a lifestyle is to meet oneself and others with the same curiosity and compassion in moments of challenge, celebration, uncertainty, and bliss. Yoga is an invitation to build a relationship with all facets of your being; to welcome the light and dark with equal admiration. Yoga teaches us that all information we receive from our body and mind is valuable and can be beneficially utilized to ground and empower us in our day-to-day lives. Amy is excited to teach at Titanium Yoga because of the genuine enthusiasm of all the instructors to build an inclusive and intentional yoga community as well as the studio's openness in offering an array of class styles/approaches to yoga.
Off the mat, Amy is a Graduate student for an MA in Holistic Mental Health Counseling at Salve Regina University and has 1 year left. She is also an instructor and dancer at MIST Fitness and participated in their most recent dance showcase and is rehearsing new dances for their second show. Amy is also a swim instructor with Kingfish Swimming, a Rhode Island-based swim program and a Bartender/Server at numerous Newport restaurants and bars.
Amy’s quote on what yoga means to her:
When I was nineteen I stumbled upon Thich Naht Hahn’s “Miracle of Mindfulness”. His philosophies on practicing presence while engaging in daily activities hooked me and ignited an interest in yogic practices. I began attending a weekly yoga class on my college campus discovering facets of my physical abilities and spiritual self I had yet to unlock. Following a semester of leading informal yoga practices with friends and acquaintances, I received my 300-hour Vinyasa Flow certification in Bali, Indonesia through Evolation Yoga. Ten years later, my practice as a facilitator and individual has evolved beyond the mat - all eight limbs of yoga offer benefits to lead a present, truthful, and compassionate life. To share these practices and lessons with others and witness the impact it has on their lives, and my own, is my why.
Fun Facts about Amy:
Amy is an avid gardener and kitchen herbalist, meaning I use food and herbs as medicine, preparing homemade remedies for wellness and healing year-round. She aspires to pursue a certificate in herbalism after she completes her master's degree but is currently self-taught with resources and knowledge from community herbalists.
